Bug Description

Ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04

If I put frequency applet to fixed frequency all is rock solid, if i put ondemand (frequency variation) it starts random kernel panic (all kernel panic log seemes different and unrelated).

When running 9.04, per the kernel team's bug policy, can you please attach the following information. Please be sure to attach each file as a separate attachment.

* cat /proc/version_signature > version.log
* dmesg > dmesg.log
* sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log

Would you also be able to capture any of the kernel panics you see? Even if you have to take a digital photo and attach it here that would be fine. For more information regarding the kernel team bug policy, please refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies . Thanks again and we appreciate your help and feedback.

I can say that there is no difference in what frequency i select, but i need to put it fixed or change manually,

i will try to get kernel panics with my camera....
