Ubuntu 8.10: "Edit in GIMP" does not work in F-Spot

Bug Description

When I right-click on a photo in F-Spot and choose "Edit with GIMP", F-Spot asks me, if it should create a new version of the photo. When I confirm this, the new version will be created, but GIMP won't open.
I have this problem since I've upgraded to Intrepid. In Hardy (and before) everything worked fine.

I've solved this problem by deleting the ~/.local directory.
