Korganizer - Time Associated Dropdown list too narrow - cropped

Binary package hint: korganizer

When creating or editing a ToDo or Event on KOrganizer the time dropdown combox list is too narrow, hence all the times are cropped and unreadable. Increasing the size of the window makes no difference.

This problem was not present in KDE 4.2Beta2 which had exactly the same font and video settings.

I can reproduce this on Kubuntu 8.10 with 4.2rc1 packages installed. I'll attach a screenshot to illustrate the problem and forward it upstream

On further investigation it turns out that this is already known upstream and has already been fixed in KDE trunk. I'll mark it as fix committed for now and hopefully we should get this fix in kubuntu when KDE 4.2 final is released

I just compiled trunk:
Qt: 4.4.3
KDE: 4.2.60 (KDE 4.2.60 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090116))
kde4-config: 1.0
KOrganizer 4.3.0 pre

Problem is still there in it.

KOrganizer is being rewritten for KDE 4.4, so KDE is not pursuing bug reports for older versions any more. There is a good chance that the buggy behavior won't pop up in the rewrite, however. :)

Whoops, KAddressBook was getting the rewrite, not KOrganizer.

Actually it seems to be fixed in KDE 4.3.1 on Kubuntu Karmic Alpha 6

Huh, cool. Guess the fix just never made it to 4.2.
