Bug Description

I received a PDF of a snazzy logo I need to convert to a vector. The file imported but the closed characters such as 'a' or 'g' are filled in solid like someone was bored during school.
Further, breaking the two objects the import created produces solid rectangles.

Wait a second: this might not be an import problem at all. It could be due to SVG support. In Flock I click on that link and it renders that SVG formatted file as expected. I take that same file and open it up in Inkscape and it does the same thing as I said above.
