libusb-1.0.0 was just released by Daniel Drake. It includes new features and improvements over previous versions of the library which is in the repositories (libusb-0.1).

Thanks for clarifying, Chris! I couldn't find it at packages.ubuntu.com, so i tought it would not be in jaunty. Is there any other place where all recent packages are listed?
