Bug Description

This happens after updating from Beta 2 to RC on Intrepid.

I had enabled "Only show tasks that are minimized" for my window list in my taskbar. In general this worked with beta 2 - the only drawback was that it did not show the window list at all if there was only one minimized window. For two and more windows it worked fine.

After updating to the RC of KDE it showed all windows, whether minimized or not.

I than disabled this setting and re-enabled it. Now it doesn't show newly minimized windows any more.

With this setting being disabled the window list works fine.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

The original bug is fixed with the latest updates from yesterday (or so). But now the space is not freed, when you have no minimized windows. This is a regression, since before this update it behaved correctly with no minimized windows.

Salze, this is good feedback.

If you are still experiencing the issue mentioned in your comment can you expire this report (mark invalid) and file a new one?

This will ensure that your current issue is not being missed by people who think this report addresses a corrected bug. Additionally, setting the 'Affects' option to a specific package rather than the default 'Ubuntu' will get your new report routed more effectively.

Regards.
