Thanks for your bug report.

Is it still an issue for you ? I would like to know if it's a problem for the first launch of awn-manager or if the problem appear each time you try to launch awn-manager.

I have the same except its when switching between workspaces. using the arrow or the mouse appears to switch, but if I move an item to the right I can never see it. I added shiny switcher. then clicking on it I could see the apps. using the mouse again I could now not see the other apps. clicking on the various places and scrolloing the mouse to try figure out why the workspaces appear different I reclicked compize and I seemed to loose shiny switcher. I went to the manager removed and added, got the crash report. The workspace switching seems to be inconsistant.

I'm going to try with effects turned off. hmmm awn dissapears guess can't work without compiz ..the arrows switch desk1 desk2 but the other functions are no longer there ....

ok its directly related to EXTRA visual effects, none and normal work just fine. I use the ati/amd proprietary fglrx drivers

I did not have this problem with 9.04. Last night I upgraded to 9.10 and all my applet icons were missing. There are place holders for applets (with "gears" icons). When I try to click on any of these gears and click "Activate", awn crashes.

In addition, the applets themselves don't have any descriptions or names.
