I looked at http://packages.ubuntu.com/dapper/devel/orbit but did not find libIDL listed as a dependency, but I know nothing of how orbit works now.

I added that comment since I was assigning the bug to MOTUs (since it is a universe package), and thought I'd ask if it had been fixed since the comment would be sent anyway (Even without the question).

Sorry if that bothered you, Matthias. I'll try and be more judicious next time.

correct, it's included, therefore you don't see a dependency.

not sure if an explicit assignment is a good idea.

orbit got dropped from Ubuntu since it's deprecated, closing
