Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
xrandr started crashing my X server occasionally, after the upgrade to Intrepid.
I've a Lenovo T61 laptop with Intel GMA X3100 (965GM) video. Sometimes I connect an external monitor and use xrandr to resize the desktop over both monitors. When I disconnect it later and use xrandr to turn off the extra monitor, my X server sometimes crashes and I'm presented with the GDM login screen. In those occasions I see this error message at the very end of /var/log/
X: intel_context.

This looks like a straight duplicate of bug 298226. Sorry I missed it when I initially filed the report.
