Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdeedu

ubuntu 8.10, parley 4:4.1.3-0ubuntu1~intrepid

after completing multiple choice quiz (using kvtml file imported from kvoctrain), after summary statistics dialogue box, parley crashes rather than returning to main edit screen.

Could you install kdeedu-dbg and try to get a better backtrace?
Please also test with KDE 4.2 RC1. (See kubuntu.org for upgrade details)

Ok, I believe I have found the upstream bug report that is the same as this one. It needed some info so I posted yours.

upgraded newly released Parley update (Version 0.9.1 - Using KDE 4.1.4 (KDE 4.1.4)

the problem persists, but is hard to replicate (sometimes the crash does not occur, sometimes it does - not clear what the connection is)

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Kubuntu 8.10 reached EOL on April 30 2010
Please see this document for currently supported Kubuntu releases:

Unfortunately this means that there will be no more bugfixes for Kubuntu 8.10. It is also recommended that you upgrade, if you have not already.
