Bug Description

After upgrading to libdrm2 v2.4.1-0ubuntu9, the X server's fglrx driver refuses to do 3D acceleration. Things worked fine with v2.4.1-0ubuntu6.

Two Xorg.0.logs with v2.4.1-0ubuntu9 and v2.3.1-0build1 attached.

(I had to downgrade to that 2.3.1 version because that was the highest available on the Ubuntu ftp server; the 0ubuntu9 one had apparently replaced the 0ubuntu6 I had before)

Those two log files were made using kernel 2.6.28-4 btw.
I'll add the 'lspci -vvnn' output that y'all seem to like. Let me know if you need more info.

has nothing to do with libdrm, but the fact that fglrx doesn't support the new xserver in jaunty..

Uhm, no, I don't think that's it. I haven't upgraded the X server packages yet because they don't work with fglrx.
Package xserver-xorg is version 1:7.4~5ubuntu3 according to Synaptic.
xserver-xorg-core is version 2:1.5.2-2ubuntu3.
xorg-driver-fglrx and fglrx-kernel-source are both version 2:8.561-0ubuntu1.
