Bug Description

Using the option "Send by email" make appear headers like :

> Wiki-Format: zim 0.26
> Creation-Date: mar, 06 jan 2009 08:48:27 +0100

This is not very user friendly.

In addition, a bad version is reported (i'm using 0.27 and not 0.26)

I can confirm this bug in Zim 0.27 when used with the Thunderbird email client. The beginning of the email looks like email headers (and reports the wrong Zim version):
"
Content-Type: text/x-zim-wiki
Wiki-Format: zim 0.26
Creation-Date: Wed, 10 Sep 2008 15:54:41 +0300
Modification-Date: Wed, 10 Sep 2008 15:54:55 +0300
"

Other than the Content-Type header, the other lines are not in fact valid email headers. Furthermore, the Creation date is repeated below the page title.

Looking further into the matter, it seems that one cannot pass custom headers to Thunderbird. I do not know about other email clients.

The headers are not intended as email header, the email content is just the page source. Never tested this feature after adding (email style) headers to the source.

Btw. the version header is not wrong, it does not give the zim version but the version of the source format that is used. This will match the last version where changes were made to the source format. Updating this with every release would break forward compatibility between versions that are in fact compatible.

..and other issue: There are shorcuts for days - in Czech language we have accented characters, i.e. čt (=čtvrtek, thursday). Zim generates invalid string, which can be found in Page properties too (Page tab).

Committed patch to at least get rid of the headers that end up in the email.

No fix for removing the heading that starts the page as that is part of the page content. If you want more control of how the email looks probably this function should have it's own template, but that should be a whishlist bug.
