Bug Description
Hi,
I'm running off the jaunty repos (uptodate as of today 2009-01-10) in a virtualbox and have increased the
horiz/vert sync ranges in the xorg.conf and the res increases to something like 1600x1200.
If I log into KDE (I'm using GDM as the display manager) and change the resolution to 1152x864 it changes but if I log out and log back in it goes back to the default res, however if I then go to the settings->Display pane the resolution changes.
It looks like something isn't reading the setting the settings->Display changes until the settings window is opened.
I'm not sure which package this is; for reference the kde-window-manager package is 4:4.1.85-0-ubuntu2
Dave
