Bug Description

When I login to my LTSP client more often than not I get a blank screen on login. Also, when I try to do SSH from a standalone machine to my main desktop PC, which is also my LTSP server, usually I cannot remote access the xserver e.g. I can login successfully, but if I type "gedit" at the command line it just hangs indefinitely at the command prompt. I suspect these two things are related and that there is some king of ssh problem. Error messages I get are:

This is in Hardy Heron, also the same in Intrepid, currently I have returned back to Hardy.
