Bug Description

Translations are opened for everyone.

Yes, this is good thing but it also allows everyone (including them who are not skilled linguists) to contribute.
I have spent numerous hours reviewing the Swedish translation and changed many of the translated strings (due to poor language, spelling issues, bad grammar, you name it).

Limit the translations to only approved teams in the Launchpad Translators Group.

Agreed.

I have changed the Translation Policy from "Open" to "Structured" now according to Launchpad "members of the translation group can edit translations for their languages, and others can make suggestions".

The approved team that can review and approve the translations is the Ubuntu Translators Team.

Changed in aptoncd:
assignee: nobody → cypherbios
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Fix Committed

Hello,

I'm the administrator of Ubuntu Czech Translators. The original request from Daniel was to change translation group to *Launchpad Translators* (https://translations.launchpad.net/+groups/launchpad-translators), which is correct, not *Ubuntu Translators*, which is wrong. APTonCD is not an official part of Ubuntu and therefore Ubuntu Translators should not be responsible for its translations. The Launchpad Translators is the very group with the very purpose that you seek. Please correct the assigned translation group.

Thank you.

Hello,

You are absolutely right! That was my mistake, I apologize for that.
It should be fixed in a couple of minutes (as soon as Launchpad stops giving me the "Oops" error message when trying to access the aptoncd translations page).

Thank you.
