Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Upgrading from 8.04 > 8.10 right after the 24 (?) (setting new software channels) files were downloaded, stopped, complained:

Not enough disk space
The upgrade aborts now. The upgrade needs a total of 636M free space on disk */*. Please free an additional 460M of disk space on */* Empty your trash and remove temporary packages of former installations using *sudo apt-get clean*.

As an aside: The error popups should be of a type to allow *copy & paste* so you wouldn have to *type* all that.
