Bug Description

If I end alltray with the command 'killall alltray', or by selecting it in the system monitor, the icons disappear but the windows don't undock.

If I issue the command 'killall gnome-panel', the icons aren't visible when the panel restarts.

This bug is intended to be fixed with the next stable release of AllTray. Unfortunately it is going to be some time yet, I still have to finish refactoring and updating it. Thank you for reporting the bug!

The bug of icons vanishing persists in Fedora 12, in alltray-0.70-4.fc12.src.rpm.

Would have been most pleased if kill -HUP had restored the missing icon.

Regardless, thanks for the great app.

I just did a kill -HUP on gnome-panel, and the process with the missing icon disappeared from the process table. This makes me wonder if, rather than a vanished icon for that process, alltray simply failed to terminate after I quit that app (which I may well have well done and forgotten.)
