Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 for some time now, and i have a small problem with some KDE apps, like amarok, k3b...

Not all buttons from those apps are in there, like you can see in the print screen.

I'm been searching on google for some help, but i can't find anything.

k3b - http://iporn.ath.cx/k3b.png <- on the top, you can see that the icons are gone, there, and pretty much everywhere

amarok - http://iporn.ath.cx/amarok.png <- top/bottom/left side. the same problem that i have with k3b, icons are gone. I have the Tray Icon activated, but on the top bar of ubuntu, there's a blank space, and no icon.

amarok - http://iporn.ath.cx/amarok1.png

log from initiating amarok from bash,

$ amarok
Amarok: [Loader] Starting amarokapp..
Amarok: [Loader] Don't run gdb, valgrind, etc. against this binary! Use amarokapp.
QLayout "unnamed" added to QVBox "unnamed", which already has a layout
QLayout: Adding KToolBar/mainToolBar (child of QVBox/unnamed) to layout for PlaylistWindow/PlaylistWindow
QObject::connect: Incompatible sender/receiver arguments
 StarManager::ratingsColorsChanged() --> ContextBrowser::ratingOrScoreOrLabelsChanged(const QString&)

Some help with be very thankful.

New problem...i run the updates of Amarok, without noticing that it was gonna install the new version.
Now running amarok from bash, i have this message:

And it closes. Now it doesn't even work.

Any ideas ?

I would use the xine Phonon backend rather than GStreamer, the GStreamer plugin is known to be unstable. You can change this in the Sound section of System Settings.

The pictures are down again. Sorry, we really can't handle bugs like this. (And the amarok crash is a separate issue)
