shadows of filled shapes appear incorrectly

Bug Description
ver 0.7:
draw a square. Under stroke increase the line width to 3 pts. Change fill to colour and select a colour, e.g. red. Now enable shadow. While the shadow of the line is drawn correctly it overlaps the fill layer inside the square rather than other way round.
In addition the context menu does not always appear when selecting a shape ... it seems to be random
