Bug Description

What’s new in Adblock Plus 1.0

    * Filter composer simplifies filter creation
    * Disabling filters directly from context menu in blockable items
    * Groups of user-defined filters can be disabled in preferences
    * Filter options $third-party and $~third-party to block only third-party/first-party requests
    * More reliable filter subscription downloads thanks to checksum verification
    * Installation in Mozilla Prism supported

Ah, note that per Ubuntu's policy new versions like this one can't enter a stable release. If you really want it, feel free to request a backport following the instructions available at: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports
