Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Running ubuntu 8.04 with firefox 3.0.5 and flash 10
I try website truthofthespoon.net/index03.html and the menu does not show the letters, the scroll-down menu does not work.
On website vueling.com when you check teh date option, the main advert stays on top therefore hiding any possibility of choosing a date.
On a windows machine with same firefox and flash, the display is correct.
My linux machine is a laptop FUJITSU-SIEMENS ESPRIMO V5535

Thanks for any help.
P.S. I'm a newbie

Could you upload a screenshot that explains what's going wrong?
The question is if that is a bug in firefox or in the flash-plugin.
Thanks!

Here's both screenshots with problems:
On vueling.png you can notice the month display is below the advert.
On neo.png the menu in the centre of the screen has no titles and the scrolling window on the right does not work at all.

Is the area where the menu entries are missing flash? Try a right click to find out.

That flash is at the moment always over other content is a known issue, I think someone is working on it.

The issue that flash is always over other content is known as bug 49613, but this should actually be fixed. Please reopen if that is an issue for you.

Hi, been away 2 days.

Tried right-click on the neo.png website and it displays: "Playing, enable audio" so I believe the whole image is flash.
I'll reopen bug 49613.
