Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-bluetooth
Would be great to have an option in the bluetooth applet to completely switch off & on the bluetooth device, so that it doesn't consume battery when not needed.
The battery in my MBP lasts no more than 1 hour in Ubuntu, while it works for more than 2-3 hours in Mac OS X, so I guess it's due to this kind of things (disabling bluetooth device in Mac OS X is easily done from the equivalent applet).
