Bug Description

I am using Ubuntu 8.10. I am also using the latest stable version of whichever package this occurs in: my system is fully updated. This bug occurs when using any deformation (ie, sphere, cylinder, none) and with or without gears enabled. It also works with views both inside and outside. However, the 3-D Windows effect must be turned on for this bug to be experienced. To reproduce this bug, hold down ctrl + alt, then hold down the the left mouse button. This should make the dekstop go into its 3-D form. Now, while holding these down, tap the down arrow on the keyboard. This should create a line across the top of the screen (with spherical or cylindrical defomation) or a plane across the top (with no deformation (ie a cube)). I expected the desktops to just unfold as they normally do with ctrl + alt + down.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better, but unfortunately I've been unable to duplicate your issue on Ubuntu 8.10 with the latest Nvidia drivers. What video card are your trying this on?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
