cannot install language pack properly

Bug Description

Binary package hint: language-pack-gnome-uk-base

This error have been occured: "E: /var/cache/apt/archives/language-pack-gnome-uk-base_1%3a8.10+20081107_all.deb: corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive
" And the system told me, that I had one corrupted package in my system and I can find it by using filter. Please tell me how can I solve this problem.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
