Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-do

When I start gnome-do, I get following error;
Unhandled Exception: System.InvalidOperationException: Could not read add-in description
  at Mono.Addins.Addin.get_Description () [0x00000]
  at Mono.Addins.AddinSessionService.CheckHostAssembly (System.Reflection.Assembly asm) [0x00000]
  at Mono.Addins.AddinSessionService.ActivateRoots () [0x00000]
  at Mono.Addins.AddinSessionService.Initialize () [0x00000]
  at Mono.Addins.AddinManager.Initialize (System.String configDir) [0x00000]
  at Do.Core.PluginManager.Initialize () [0x00000]
  at Do.Do.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00000]

I failed to fix it by completely removing gnome-do and reinstalling it.
I also tried to fix it by reinstalling all the libmono libraries that are listed in the dependencies.

Very willing to provide any additional info that might be required.

I tried to fix his by reinstalling it completely.
I used following commands:
sudo apt-get autoremove gnome-do
sudo apt-get install gome-do

The problem does remain, unfortunately:

I get exactly this same error when I try to run gnome-do. My system info is the same as guivho's, but in addition I'm providing a little more information: I had gnome-do installed and running one or two weeks ago, then I removed the package, and now that I tried to install it again this came to happen. I can only assume there's some incompatibility with one of the packages that have been updated lately.

PS: I'm not a developer nor an advanced user, so if you need more information please do tell me how to get it and I'll be glad to help. I suppose you should know that I get the normal updates (stable) daily and always install them as soon as I'm notified.

I installed gnome-do from the launchpad repository (version 0.8.0-0~intrepid~ppa1) and it works fine. Sorry, but I can't help anymore with this issue. I hope guivho can provide more feedback.
