kernel 2.6.28 for ext4 without intrepid memory leak

Bug Description

I'm using ext4 on a development system I dual boot to ubuntu, it would be very handy to be able to load that harddrive on ubuntu without the memory leak I've experienced in 2.6.27's ext4dev.

I don't think kernels get backported. AFAIK, thats what releases are for. You can get the .28 kernel with jaunty
