Bug Description
Bug in Ubuntu Intrepid (Gnome 2.24.1, Firefox 3.0.5).
If you put a laptop to sleep (by closing the lid) while the mouse is in Firefox's scroll mode (the one you get to when you middle-click an inactive part of a web page), the desktop will not lock. In other words anyone who has physical access to the laptop can wake it up and have access to your workspace and your data.
One of two things needs to change. Either Firefox should be modified to stop it knobbling the suspend process (a workaround), or the environment should be changed to prevent it being able to do so (and thus preventing other applications from doing the same thing).
