Bug Description

When you go to

System > Help > Ubuntu 5.10 Starter Guide > Upgrading Ubuntu

#3 gives the source.list text for enabling Breezy universe/multiverse repositories, but not the text required for upgrading to Dapper.

The correct text should include the Dapper URI's, whatever they may be.

Dapper archives are not yet created, so this would lead to massive confusion.

This should be changed only in six months when dapper is final, not sooner.
We can't recommend non-technical users to run a development realse.

I say close as invalid.

No, they should be changed as soon as the Dapper URI's are revealed.

The document already as a nice warning about its instability:

"This is still in very early, highly unstable development stage. Only use it for experimental purposes. Doing this will most likely break your entire system!"

Besides, the topic is "Upgrading Ubuntu," and all information should lead to that goal. It should not have false information just for the sake of "protecting" the user.

Thanks for the ultra-quick response. :)

I found the issue in question on bugzilla:

http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17264

As one can see, it WILL be fixed soon, and thus is not "invalid."
