Bug Description
Binary package hint: amule
Amule 2.2.2-1ubuntu1 shipped with Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid has no support for UPnP.
Somehow support for UPnP has not been enabled in the current build (at least on x86_64). This can be confirmed by running wireshark while running aMule. aMule will not even try to broadcast the UPnP requests.

No, this is not a duplicate of bug #201624. In bug #201624 amule was compiled with UPnP and the upnp library was not found. Here I'm reporting that aMule has been *compiled without* UPnP support and amule is not even trying to load the upnp library.
