Bug Description

I did a distupgrade from 8.04 to 8.10. This removed the possibility to choose between KDE3.5 and KDE4 and installed KDE4 as only possibility. Since KDE4 is extremly different from KDE3 and far behind in features and usability, I consider this a bug. Please, please please leave the possibility to choose between KDE3.5 and KDE4 at least until KDE4 is able to reuse the existing KDE3 configurations and thus look and feel like the desktop I'm used to and can work with.

Forcing the user to learn a new (and in my opinion counterintuitive) configuration interface and to redo many hours of configuration work is quite unkind to say the least.
