Bug Description

Noteboot Model: Fujitsu-siemens ESPRIMO Mobile U9210,
Ubuntu 8.10
Both speaker and headphones are emiting sound. There is no way to mute the speaker from gnome volume control.

I'm moving this report to linux, and closing the upstream report for ALSA driver.
Have you already tried to switch off both controls for IEC958 ?
