Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When I start Open Office, for any selection, the menu items on the top panel show as blank text. This also occurs when I click the panel to pull down the menu items.

Happens a lot whenever the following three try to work together:

1) Open-Office
2) nVidia (esp. 96.43.09)
3) Compiz
