Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdm-kde4
On Intrepid when quitting no problem to leave the session but no way to reboot or halt with the buttons porposed :
Quit --> halt or or reboot ; neither work as a flashing white rectangle (not full screen !) is displayed like it is ticking something and nothing happends until I hit the combination keys Ctrl +Alt+Suppr
Same problem with kdm-kde4 on Hardy but with another kdm-kde4 style I get a fixed scrambled rectangle on the screen (not full screen as above) and here no other way than Ctrl +Alt+Suppr to leave.
Regards.

Apparently the bug has been cured on the 64 bit machine with KDE 4 where I have removed compiz ; maybe the bug was due to an interface problem between Kdm-kde4 and compiz.
