Bug Description

I am using Kubuntu 8.10 with all upgrades.

During download of Kubuntu Jaunty CD, alternate for i386, Alpha 2 via jigdo-lite there are 42 files which cannot be downloaded. The problem remains even if a different mirror server is used.

As an example, just a couple of files which fail to download:
http://archive.ubuntu.com/archive/pool/main/x/xserver-xorg-video-fbdev/xserver-xorg-video-fbdev_0.4.0-1build3_i386.deb
http://archive.ubuntu.com/archive/pool/main/x/xserver-xorg-video-v4l/xserver-xorg-video-v4l_0.2.0-1ubuntu4_i386.deb
http://archive.ubuntu.com/archive/pool/main/s/samba/libwbclient0_3.2.5-1ubuntu1_i386.deb

This seems to be not a software problem but rather a problem related with the contents of the Ubuntu archive (http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/) or with the .jigdo file, anyway it is a bug.

I remember to have the same problem a couple of months ago when downloading the development version of Intrepid.

I am not sure if this bug should be attached to "jigdo" source package since it does not seem to be due to a bug in jigdo, but rather to some missing files on the Ubuntu servers.
