pavol, the rows of images in your screenshot are the icons on your gnome panel...
so this looks like X corruption or something similar
is this issue reproducible?
does it only happen when visiting this website?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest version of Firefox and Jaunty? Thanks in advance.

I have a similar problem, no idea what jaunty is though.

On squidoo and on yahoo mail I'm not seeing the logo's as they should. Looks like lines get mixed about or something. On squidoo it's most images that look weird. At first I thought it was something on squidoo's end, so I filed a bug report there, but now yahoo mail has roughly the same issue.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 build and the latest firefox as well. I don't have other browsers installed on ubuntu, so I can't compare there, but I do know that the way it looks is not the way it ought to look. Haven't seen this problem on other websites.

So, your problem appears only on a specific website? Can you provide a URL and/or a screenshot?
Can you try installing other browsers to see if it happens there too? Epiphany or Opera are two examples...
