npviewer segfault

Using firefox browsing on web sites suddenly system freeze and noway to cancel something !

/var/log contains:

npviewer.bin[13290]: segfault at ff9d0aa0 ip 00000000ff9d0aa0 sp 00000000fff998bc error 14

Thanks to help for this big problem.

it seems after update of ATI driver to 8.12 that the problem disappear !!

I run kubuntu karmic 9.10 , x86 64 and have same bug:

[ 4580.579709] npviewer.bin[9365]: segfault at 604 ip 00000000f5fef8f7 sp 00000000ff851190 error 4 in libflashplayer.so[f5f94000+990000]

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test a current, supported, Ubuntu version. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect 310557, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
