When i will install a programm it will crashes with the following message:E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Bug Description

Im use Ubuntu 8.10 and when ever i will install a programm the package manager will crashes with the following message: E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. E: _cache->open() failed, please report.I will send a Screenshot too.
