Bug Description

As discovered in KDE bug 170462 (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=170462) the patch 107_fedora_dont_backfill_bg_none.patch to xserver is the cause for the video garbage in KDE 4. As written in comment #44 building xserver without this patch solves the problem of video garbage. The video garbage does only occur on distributions using this patch. That is Fedora und Ubuntu. Other distributions like Debian and openSuSE are not affected.

Please note that this bug is a hughe problem for Upstream KDE. It has many votes and the bug is destroying a lot of the KDE experience. Please provide an update without this patch to provide a good KDE experience to all KDE users.
