Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

I am using Ubuntu 8.04, the os sees the printer as being connected usb and correctly identifies the printer as Canon ip 1000 , however fails to print test , there is no response from the printer at all. I have checked the printer list and the ip Canon series are there but strangly the ip 1000 is not, the ip1200 is there and others.
