Too small file selector when adding wallpaper to change desktop background

Bug Description

When I try and add a wallpaper, the file selector sometimes comes up too small. See screenshot. This means I have to rescale it. Some sort of minimum size needs to be set too prevent this poor usability.

Thank you for your bug. I am not able to reproduce this here with a fully updated Ubuntu 8.10. What version of Ubuntu are you using?
