Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity-
Basically, I have a fairly standard setup like:
/dev/sda1 / 8gb
/dev/sda2 swap 1.5gb
/dev/sda3 /home 40gb
I downloaded the Kubuntu daily live ISO (20081218.2), and tried the installer, but I couldn't edit partitions (no dialogue box came up when I clicked edit, either from the button down the bottom, or the right-click menu).
Also, I tried to simply delete and replace sda1 and sda2, thinking I could manually set up /home after the install. This worked ok for the root partition, but when I created the swap partition, it set the mount point as /home. again, I couldn't manually edit it.

I'm having this very same issue on my Dell Lattitude D830 with Kubuntu Jaunty Alpha 2
