Bug Description

Binary package hint: bluez-gnome

When searching for devices, e.g. in bluetooth-wizard or bluetooth-sendto, there is no UI feedback to indicate if the applet is searching for devices or not, and if the user should wait more for new devices to appear or not.

To accomplish this, there could be a simple searching indicator (like the tiny 'loading' circle icon on Firefox tabs) and a label saying 'Searching...' under the 'devices found' box.

Really think that this would be fixed, you don't know if it is doing something... Should be fixed in Jaunty.

The problem is fixed upstream, I don't understand why the status wasn't updated.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Karmic Koala. It won't be fixed in previous versions of Ubuntu because the package doesn't fit the requirements for backporting. See https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports for more information.
