Rhythmbox doesn't play anymore after a computer sleep

Bug #309011 reported by Lionel Dricot

Ubuntu Desktop Bugs

Bug Description

1) Open rhythmbox and play some file
2) Pause the current song
3) Put your computer on sleep
4) Wait 1 minute (until the computer is well on sleep)
5) Open you computer
6) Try to "unpause" rhythmbox : nothing will be played, the cursor will stay immobile.

Workaround : close rhythmbox and restart it.

Reproducible : always (tested on two completely unrelated laptops running intrepid)

I have no idea if it's related to rhythmbox, gstreamer, pulseaudio, linux sleep or a combination of them.

thanks for the report, do you also have the problem as described on bug 299294 ? if so this and the other report are probably due to a gstreamer issue rather than an application one, thanks!.

Changed in rhythmbox:
assignee: nobody → desktop-bugs
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Incomplete
