Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

This bug only occurs when using Compiz (when using Metacity there are no problems). Also, this problem occurs even with a clean Compiz configuration.

When opening a new Firefox window (either on Firefox startup or just a new window), it takes up the entire screen, even cutting off the panels, etc. The only way to fix the size is to use F11 to fullscreen it and then press F11 again to un-fullscreen it. I attached a screenshot.

I am using a fully updated Ibex.

what you do my friend is,

1) keep pressing F11 again and again till time Firefox leaves full-screen mode.
2) now you re size it to half of screen (i mean leave maximized mode)
3) Close Firefox
4) open Firefox, now your firefox will open in same manner you closed it (filling half screen)
5) now you can maximize it and close it again so that when you open it next time it will open maximized.

i hope you get it ( the key is linux remembers the size and position of windows closed last time )
