Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

Today, right after installing the latest updates, the network-manager shows that I am disconnected from the network even though I am connected and I can surf using firefox.

I found a duplicate of this bug ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/105234 ) but it does not seem to refer to Intrepid.

Indeed. I followed a suggestion from https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/305398 and now nm works ok.

But as stated in 305398, that is only a workaround. This bug needs to be fixed.
