SYTEM WILL NOT FULLY REBOOT

Well, my intro to Intrepid 8.10: browser began acting funny, then system would not fully reboot i.e. just the blank screen after auto login.
Retried several times, managed to file report by right-clicking on blank screen and starting a new doc in file provided. This is maddening ... especially since I've just battled my way through to getting TOTEM to work properly! Any suggestions, people?

Summary: BlueTooth icon exists in Preferences menu

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Start Unit
2) Preferences view Bluetooth icon

In Terminal lsmod
bluetooth does not exist

Expected result: BlueTooth icon should not exist
