make distclean is not cleaning out all directories

Bug Description

After running "make distclean" there are still files left that should be removed:

% find . -name '*.o'
./plugin/compress/compressudf.o
./plugin/replicator/.libs/replicator.o
./plugin/replicator/replicator.o
./plugin/uncompress/uncompressudf.o
./plugin/uncompressed_length/uncompressed_length.o

also some .lo files remain as well.
