Binary package hint: synaptic

After installation of gnome-commander 1.2.7 in Intrepid I was unable to open my home-directory and sub-folders from the main menu. Synaptic starts instead of Nautilus file manager without root privileges after closing a warning message. See attached screenshot.

After searching in various directories I found in ".local/share/applications/" a file named "mimeapps.list" with a suspicious line: inode/directory=userapp-synaptic-WIL2KU.desktop;nautilus-folder-handler.desktop;userapp-gedit-LD26KU.desktop;brasero-open-project.desktop;
After removing "userapp-synaptic-WIL2KU.desktop;" my system works normal now. Still I do'nt know, how this list was corrupted.
