Bug Description

I'm running Netbook Remix on my EEE PC 1000. After using Fn+F2 to disable wireless and rebooting the system, I cannot enable wireless. I am asked to reboot to enable wireless, but after reboot I get the same error. I find that WLAN was disabled in the bios. After enabling WLAN, my wireless works.

Ahh I thought you were using a different piece of hardware all together ( according to wikipedia some eee pc's use atheros chipsets and some use ralink chipsets http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASUS_Eee_PC#Specifications)

It might be helpful if you post the lines from /var/log/daemon.log that have NetworkManager in them

also the output from
 tail -f /var/log/kern.log

as you disable and (try) to renable the wireless on your netbook.
