Bug Description

Installing these backport modules packages causes the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG in my Acer 7720 to become undetectable. Uninstalling these packages re-enables the device.

$ uname -a
Linux gerls 2.6.27-10-generic #1 SMP Fri Nov 21 12:00:22 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

$ cat /proc/version_signature
Ubuntu 2.6.27-10.20-generic
